HP Recommended. Product: HP Pavilion x Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 bit. I have a question about the compatibility of wacom stylus and computers. I just bought a new laptop Pavilion x 14m-badx because my old one is about 6 years old and I thought it would be cool if I could draw on my touch screen rather than just on a tablet slate. I use drawing programs like clip studio paint and sai paint too.

I've adjusted the the settings for both programs and installed the latest drivers but nothing picks up? Both of my stylus's were affected - the Bamboo Ink and the Surface Pro 3 stylus.

I could not use pressure sensitivity in either of them. I assumed it was just driver issues and kept trying to update my drivers. So the driver notes that it does not support any version of the Microsoft Surface. I have a surface pro 3. It does note however that you can use Bamboo Ink on surface devices by switching modes on the stylus. This is done by pressing the two buttons on the side of the stylus simultaneously for several seconds until it lights up.

So I just figured I could do that, I already switched the mode on my stylus. However now I am unable to install the wacom driver as it doesn't recognize a "tablet" on my surface pro 3? I thought this was a driver for the bamboo ink This whole process makes no sense and I'm really confused. I don't understand how this affected my surface pro 3 stylus either? Was this reply helpful? Yes No. Sorry this didn't help. Thanks for your feedback.
